Well, I saw a few tutorials about preconverting a video with Virtual Dub ([[1]],[[2]]), but the converter that came with my s1 Player does only support wmv files (the other converters do not support 160x120), that's why I decided to write a tutorial about preconverting videos with SUPER ©.
Where can I get SUPER ©?

The download should start now. Install it and follow the next step.
How to preconvert Videos in SUPER ©
First start SUPER ©. Then perform a right-click on the GUI and click 
and enter the path where the converted files should be stored.
Next you should chose the output container. The codecs don't really matter.
The next step is activating Use Directshow Filter and clicking on the D to get some more options

Now type the screen resolution of your s1 in the new window 
Somebody who wrote one of these Virtual Dub articles told us that 23,98 fps are good for the converter.
If you have got enough free space and time you can use that tweak to get better quality settings:
Finally drop some files in the GUI and click the Encode button.
