The current entry to the S1MP3.org developer site has been redesigned by Ali1234 in an effort to impose some kind of order on the Wiki. This page sets out some rules to try to keep the wiki under control, and prevent the build up of out of date information, orphan pages, duplication etc.

Main Page

Dev:Main has been redesigned with the goal of making introductory information obvious, while kgiving existing developers easy access to project resources.

Static Pages

The following pages have been written/rewritten with the goal of removing all volatile information:

• Projects
• Contributing
• Repositories
• Resources
• Dev:Main

That means that these pages will never contain out of date information, unless somebody puts it there. So to avoid this happening, DO NOT put statements like "we are currently working on X" or "we need help with Y" on these pages. The only edits to these pages should be to improve the clarity of the existing information.

These are the places where current project status, requests for help etc. should be kept.

Traq has just undergone a serious spam cleanup. Some spam filtering should be set up.
