JD-ICE 2 sketch
Possible wiring to emulate a printer connection: -- pin 1 (data strobe) ---> pin 10 (Ack) pin 11(busy) , pin 12(paper end), pin 17(select inhibit) --> Ground pin 13(select) --> pin 15(!error) --Tied together, but floating -- ECP compliancy note: pin 16(reverse) is used to active the LEC enable line, that must be NOTted for the input or output LEC (bidirectionality bit). for safety reasons, add a zener for voltage limitation (3.3V) and one for the inverted polarity. - possible LED - 5 ICE output bits + 1 'POWER' bit - the INPUT LEC buffer should have a fixed female connector with GND&VCC to handle through an external circuitry (with transistor) the device powering suggested pinout: pin 2, data 0 = ICEDI pin 3, data 1 = ICECK pin 4, data 2 = ICEEN- pin 5, data 3 = ICERST- pin 6, data 4 = POWER

ICEDO issues
It has been suggested (wiRe) to use a transistor to have a better ICEDO signal - needs verify --Legolas558 08:29, 4 July 2006 (CDT)
Actions ICE connector
WiRe said: Here is the portmap of the original ICE-Interface, you can also use this DB9 connector between JD-ICE and the ATJ chip if you want to be compatible to Actions original ICE Interface-Card:
