From S1MP3 Wiki
RE: Comet Proline - I have 3 of these, and they are all Sigmatel Ali1234 12:07, 16 November 2006 (EST)
RE: OrangeCool brand - I suspect those pictures aren't clickable because they are only illustrations of which of their players are upgradable. --JedOi 23:41, 16 January 2006 (CST)
Turns out that www.jiaxin.com.cn is a Chinese site (redirects to www.it112.net/asp/) which is a retailer and not a link to a brand or specific manufacturer. --JedOi 01:35, 19 January 2006 (CST)
RE: Sandisk - I don't think Sandisk makes any S1MP3 Players. Some of their latest models look like some MP4 Players, but I don't think they are really S1MP3 compatible players. Can anyone confirm that? Does that link really belong here? --Cronot 13:54, 19 January 2006 (CST)
Indeed - I guess Sandisk really brands any ATJ2085 powered device.... I'll remove this info not to cause bad repercussions. (ppl filling support request to sandisk) --Wladston 11:43, 19 January 2006 (CST)
Retail is a whitebox reseller, IE they buy OEM product and box it in a pretty retail package I haven't seen them do anything more than commodity computer parts.
I have found ones on sale in Canada branded Kosch and Cora
I have added Starex, which is seen in Argentina. Cannot find the same model in any place in the web. It plays OGG files!! I'm adding pictures too.
Could it be usefull to add a page to xref the models and their respective supported audio formats ? Also I have dumped the firmware of my model, tried to look at the yahoo list to ask about to upload it for the firmwares page but did not managed to get it... Tell me if you find it interresting. --seki 05:21, 31 March 2006 (CST)

X-Micro
Another brand is proven to be based on s1mp3: X-Micro Video MP4 400 (probably other types from the same manufacturer also). See http://www.x-micro.com/main-product-video400.html Internal photos: Image:Xmicro mp4 400 inside1.jpg Image:Xmicro mp4 400 inside2.jpg --Tice 10:59, 25 September 2006 (CDT)
I thought you were interested in the internal photos of this player, but the images were too large to be posted here. Sorry. :-( Anyway, it has a strange firmware, as the version says 9.2.96 (2005.11.14). --Tice 10:59, 25 September 2006 (CDT)
Well, I actually liked to see it, the problem is that the images are large, and the wiki shall not be used to store such internal photos, or our server will overload with little time... I hope you aren't disappointed! :) You could host the images on some free image hosting services arround ...BTW, grat picts! --Wladston 21:44, 25 September 2006 (CDT)
AVS NanoBlade and PCMate series
HiAll!
A new S1MP3/MP4 brand has been spotted here in Hungary: AVS. The NanoBlade series are confirmed S1MP4s. They are manufactured in 2 designs, one of them looks like an iPod Nano, while the other has a control button in a shape of a " " sign (like the Inovix iMP5500). I suspect that the PCMate series are also S1MP3s. If anyone could confirm this, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! --81.183.88.152 14:53, 8 January 2007 (EST)
