Added info about mp4 types based on some posts in "MP4 player categorization (Types A, B, and C ?)" subforum. Hope this will help people to identify their mp4 type (and stops further posts with questions "What's my mp4 type?" ;-)

If you can't find your mp4's subtype and want to add new category then:

  • find out to which main category your player fits (A/B/C/D)
  • add mp4 keyboard layout (using the same key naming convention)
  • add link to a good picture presenting added type with mp4's brand/name



BTW Can someone add info about Type D (with touchscreen)? - Roeoender 08:46, 8 March 2006 (CST)



I added my player as A uncategorized (last one, with a link to thread), but the layout seems equal to the A2, just that the A2 seems inverted (someone should say if that layout is looking from the back or from the front :P). Can someone confirm it's an A2? --LKRaider 19:02, 12 April 2006 (CDT)
