Liked the layout change!
Congratulations! Feel free to make or edit the categorization I tried to make! --Wladston 14:15, 15 February 2006 (CST)
Ok! but time is always a hard constraint :( --Legolas558 14:21, 15 February 2006 (CST)
Divide et impera again...
That's ok. The main problem with documenting ATJ2085 is about permissions. Do we have them? If yes, then any information we discover for our educational purposes can be released here.
Uh..I forgot this: if we can documentate, then there will be our ATJ2085 technical info and the program info as separated, otherwise I was thinking about giving some 'samples' in the section... --Legolas558 09:36, 16 January 2006 (CST)
I think we can release safely the information needed for educational purposes .... the worst that might heappen is that Actions will email us asking to remove the content ... (I really think this will never heapen). We can still post the info as fair use, even if Actions is against us, I think. If you have any issues, please, feel very free to post or request anything. --Wladston 10:18, 16 January 2006 (CST)
s1ice project
Legolas, Usually, talk pages are kept as a page used only to discuss the content on the content page it's related.
s1ice is the software page, it does not really need a discussion page, it will probably need that when the real software for our purposes will be available. Since online is just version 0.4, which is for testing purposes, the s1ice page does not need further explanations at the moment. (I think) --Legolas558 12:54, 10 February 2006 (CST)
Having Talk:S1ice filled with important content, there are two pages with remain without a nice "talk" page : the main S1ice and the Talk:S1ice. Why don't we move the talk:S1ice to another wikipage ? talk:S1ice desserves it! :) We may create a "s1ice project" wiki page for example ... tell me what you think. --Wladston 12:26, 10 February 2006 (CST)
Why don't we wait for balzac and we move the sub-project to the real place it should be? That would be greatly better. We should already have implanted the sub-project on the s1mp3.org site, but the wiki is very handful while we don't have a cms on s1mp3.org. My opinion is to keep it on the discussion page (since it is not a real documentation) and then to move it to the balzac cms. I think this way because in theory the important content in Talk:s1ice is continuosly changing. That's more likely a project page. Btw, what do you want to put in the Talk:s1ice? If you think that things are too messy, I may move the sub-project to another wiki page, but I think that overall the problem is people not helping anyway... I think I also understood why nobody helps: it is fairly impossible to discover an ICE protocol, we have to get that information in another way. --Legolas558 12:54, 10 February 2006 (CST)
Hi, About to build ICE board
Hi, Legolas558, I will be building an ICE interface board soon, so when i do i will start looking into the working of ICE in more detail. BTW, i am one of the Admins at the forum and main site :D
--Ian hawdon 06:13, 12 February 2006 (CST)
There is a new version of JD-ICE, please make sure you own a compatible one --Legolas558 04:18, 8 March 2006 (CST)
Welcome back
Nice to see you back. --Wladston
Thanks --Legolas558 14:08, 14 February 2006 (CST)
Spam
Sure. For now I'm hanging on and guarding the wiki, I think that anonimpous posting is an important feature. When I see the situation is unsustaintable, I'll block anonymous posting. --Wladston 17:14, 2 April 2006 (CDT)
Allright. New policy accepted. :) --Wladston 09:29, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
License
Btw, is mediawiki licensing compatible with the FBDL license we've chosen?
No, mediawiki is GNU. But we are not licensing mediawiki, we are licensing our own content. We can license it the way we want, since WE are the authors.
--Wladston 10:41, 23 April 2006 (CDT)
Ok, that's fine then! --Legolas558 10:43, 23 April 2006 (CDT)
Indeed, to have a license legally placed on the forum can be a pain .... :(( But i think there is no problem, let guys place anything on the forum... I have added a rule stating that usefull information can be used on the wiki under Free BSD Documentation License, so users shall agree on it while posting ... --Wladston 08:59, 24 April 2006 (CDT)
BREC
Well, it was obtained by an AP written by brain, as I said ...
as usual in this project, everybody ignored his source and his work .. --Wladston 18:58, 26 April 2006 (CDT)
Redirects
... :O Why haven't you told me this before ??? :(( I thought that it were just rests of old pages renames)
now what we're gonna do ? i think we shall not fix them RIGHT now ... if we are moving to trac .. --Wladston 15:59, 3 July 2006 (CDT)
Trac's system is much newer than mediawiki's one - you can't even rename pages! I doubt that information is easier to find .. i bet on the oposite .. :/ --Wladston 17:31, 3 July 2006 (CDT)
Okay, thanks! Soon as the new pages are completely ready, we'll remove all the user-related content, remember that! :) I gotta go to the class now, later we talk at IRC!
See ya! --Wladston 10:53, 15 September 2006 (CDT)
